Tip of the week #1

From time to time I'll make use of my Tip of the Week posts to

broadcast important housekeeping information about this website and

I think it's entirely appropriate to use my first tip to talk to

you about my Editor's Blog.

When I first loaded and tested the blog function on this website, I

assumed that it operated just like any other blog out there. You

know....I pick the subject for discussion, post my rants and set the

tone then, you, the reader, respond with your own opinion.

Well, as it turns out...unfortunately, that's not the case with my

Editor's Blog.

The reader's response function of our BoomerBikerOnline.com blog

has been disabled for security reasons. I'm told, by the gurus that

wrote the MemberGate software that powers my website that ingenious

hackers have devised the means to infiltrate and take control of

computers through web blogs.

Consequently, in the interest of promoting and preserving free

speech, I've decided to try out a compromise solution and offer to

manually post public reader's responses to my Editors Blog -

provided this chore does not become too time consuming or labor

intensive.

So, consider this an open invitation to anyone with a burning

desire to respond to my Editors Blog to simply email their

opinions to webmaster@BoomerBikerOnline.com and I'll do my best to

post their response in a timely manner on my public blog.

I'd also like to point out that access and security are non-issues

for BoomerBikerOnline Members.

Within the secure confines of this website's firewall,

BoomerBikerOnline.com members enjoy the free and unrestricted flow

of information. Members can share their thoughts and start lively

debates simply by making us of our Discussion Forum.

And, while I'm at it, I'm open for membership suggestions about

the type of information your would like me to provide within this

"Tip of the Week" format.

Here at BoomerBikerOnline.com, we're all about providing our

members with the type of lifestyle information that is not only

highly relevant but also pertinent.

That's called "News you can use!"
