Wild-Rider Two-Day Guided Tour #6

Printer-Friendly Format

Manuel Antonio National Park

Day 1:

From our base in San José, we will go on a 2 day-trip to the central mountain range, the national park of Manuel Antonio and to the dream beaches of the mid-pacific coast.

Ancient Indian trails will lead us through spectacular tropical forests with an abundance of native wildlife. You will have the chance to see Costa Rica's largest crocodile colony at the Tarcoles River.

The route changes constantly from muddy trails, to steep gravel roads, knee-high river crossings and even a swaying wooden bridge. Spectacular views over steaming rain forests and dry savannas, soon transform to the white beaches of the pacific. This tour will lead you to the heard of Costa Rica.

Final destination of the day is our hotel Villas Romanticas, located in Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio is one of Costa Rica's principal travel destinations, and the home to one of the oldest national parks of the country - famous for its long, white beach.

This route can be chosen according to your personal preferences and skills (on-/off-road). In the late afternoon, we might sill find some time to enjoy the beach. After a nice dinner, we can explore the colorful nightlife of Manuel Antonio.

Day 2:

We have to get up early, so that we still can visit the Manuel Antonio National Park as well as spend some time on the beach. After a light lunch, we go for an exciting ride back to San José.

Once again, we can take different routes, either road, off-road "easy", or off-road "difficult". The choice is yours.
