MOOD OF THE MOMENT.

After five days of suffering every endless symptom of an unnameable flu-virus-fever-cold-geetchy gotchy, I finally went to a Chinese doctor here in Hong Kong.

After drinking some indescribably tasting liquid (probably made out of dinosaur bones) and having twenty needles stuck in my body from top to toe, I feel much better now (particularly when he took the needles out). I am ready to write, but …..

During my feverish deliriums I was having Capricorn anxieties of 'what if I don't get well enough to send in the Horoscope on time'. In a flash of brilliant light, I heard a deep voice speaking from behind a burning bush say, "Let Them Write Their Own Future!"

Now that I am well again, it is still a good idea. Somehow, somewhere inside of you, you already know what is going to happen with you these next two months. You know yourself personally better than I could ever know. When I write for 1000 Virgos or 1000 Aquarians I am writing for one thousand different people. I never believe in people being asked for the Answer anyway. I always believed in them being asked the Question.

So here is how to write your own Horoscope:

(1) To get started, Sit Silently a short time before you begin;

(2) Let a symbol or metaphor or sensory impression or feeling come to you;

(3) Write down under your sign what you think is going to happen and how you think you are going to respond;

(4) or, particularly for Pisces, write down 3 Wishes and how you think you are going to respond;

(5) Make it a full paragraph with at least 7-10 sentences that hang together;

(6) Put it down and don't look at it again until Nov. 1;
