MOOD OF THE MOMENT.

The Big Picture. What is the meaning that the Mayan Calendar ends on December 21, 2012 at 11.11 am GMT? They are not around to tell us. In the name of the God of Love, the Christians murdered all of the astronomer-priests and they burnt all of the books of a civilization thousands of years old. Only four have survived. What they could have told us cannot be told.

Something significant does happen at that time. There is a rare astronomical alignment that happens only 30 times in 26,000 years. The Sun will make its annual crossing of the Galactic Equator, but on the same day as Winter Soltice. By amazing coincidence, this will happen in perfect alignment with the Galactic Center at 27 Sagittarius at the same time. In modern science, it is called 'the polar dark region.' The ancient Maya called it 'The Black Road.' It is a rare time when the Winter Solstice conjuncts the Sacred Tree.

Some say the alignment will trigger a reversal in the Sun's magnetic field accompanied by giant sunspot storms and causing it to get 10X hotter. With this comes a reversal of the rotation of the Earth on its axis and the flooding of the entire globe. It has happened before.

Others say that Ascension is possible, that the entrance to the underworld road is open then and the traveler can be taken up into the Heart of the Sky. All mass and life comes from the Galactic Center and everything returns home. It takes 36 years to precess the G.C., and that happens from 1980 to 2016.

Maybe this time, we don't wait for the Second Coming. Maybe we all take a trip to go see Him.

The Little Picture. There has been a Saturn/Neptune opposition since August 2006 and will peak and finish this June 2007. They are in the signs of Leo and Aquarius. It is an 18 year cycle when government has corroded due to corruption and lies and action has to be taken to re-shape its form. It is a time of conflict between the earthly and the spiritual on both the collective and the personal. It is worse than a time of broken dreams. It is a time when those dreams have been achieved and they did not satisfy.

ARIES. Watch your money, dude. Your impulsivity is good for jumping out of the way of a speeding truck, but it is not so useful in handling your finances. This is a time of being busy, busy with the money. Either busy making it or busy spending it. The good way to spend it is on taking groups or trainings. The not-so-good way of spending it is on gambling or get-rich-schemes that sound to be good to be true. The information given to you may not be correct or you may not have enough capital to finish the job.

TAURUS. Mars transit in Taurus does not make you faster than a speeding bullet, but at least your pace quickens to something faster than snow melting on a cold winter's day. You may even find yourself becoming impatient at the times during the next six weeks. Things need to get done, but obstacles get in your way or things seem to be delayed. What you expect is not what you get and there is a seesaw motion between frustration or disappointment. The solution is to hold onto your ideals and to take action to make them work here on earth.

GEMINI. Nothing moves until it does. Nothing seems to get done and lazy, lazy is the tune of the day. The Force is with you later in July, not now. That's OK because something better is happening for you now. The stars (or whoever) have decided that this a time for you to be loved and liked more than usual in your life. It just happens. There is nothing you have to do to earn or justify this affection. It just happens. You can even show off a little and encourage others to do the same. That is why we came to this earth, to meet each other and enjoy.

CANCER. Ah, jeezus christ, get out of your head! Thinking, thinking. It is such a habit with you. Worse than picking your nose and then licking your fingers. Thinking, thinking. Every time you catch yourself thinking, just slap yourself across the face and pinch your armpits. Mercury transit in Cancer makes the habit even worse now. Look, my friend, you are a feeling person. You are a genius at feelings and they are your authority for what is true for you in this life. Use your mind to notice tensions in your body and let your feelings be your guide.

LEO. It is the love that lasts that gets dry and brittle. Juicy love burns out because the juice is citric acid (as in 'you are the apple of my eye') that burns the bottom out beneath your feet. Wanting love is one thing and finding it is another. Holding onto love is a third thing and using appreciation to make it last is another. Juicyness is not the question for you now. Appreciation is. How easy it is to be excited over the novelty of a new toy and how grown up it is to turn it into a tool with which to build the mansion of your soul. Time to remember what you don't notice anymore.

VIRGO. Expect the unexpected, open up your third eye, and leave 1-2-3 logic behind. What is familiar to you is false and what is clear to you becomes just another piece in a bigger and better puzzle. A realization is coming to you that you cannot study for and you cannot prepare. It will come to you in a flash of insight whereby the solution precedes the problem and the answer comes to a question you never knew you had. Be alert to your environment and awake and alive. In a sudden moment, the movie screen will be removed and you will be able to see the plot.

LIBRA. The Navajo have a saying that if your horse wanders off and he doesn't come back, he wasn't your horse. It is time to lose some of your friends now so that you can spend more time with the ones that really matter, the old friends that were important in your past and are still committed to you even though you haven't seen each other for awhile. It is time to turn away from the shallow and superficial and to go deeper into friendship that has lasted over time. With who do you share a common vision and walk the same path? Go back to the past and make it new.

SCORPIO. The choice for you now is between love or power. They are exclusive and cannot both be had at the same time. It is a choice. The only way to get or give with love is through surrender. The only way to get or give with power is through control. The answer will come in the form of a mystery and the mystery is about the difference between passion and pain. What makes them different and what makes them the same? The more success you have at work, the more there is something to work out at home.

SAGITTARIUS. It is a good time, a lucky time. Time to travel and you don't need to know where you go. Time to learn and you don't need to understand. Time to talk and you don't need to be understood. Time to have an experience and you don't need to have a result. Time to love yourself and you don't need to know who you are. It is a time of optimistic trial and error and you don't need to bother about the mistakes. It is a time to speak out and be seen and you don't need a reason to exist. This is the right time for you.

CAPRICORN. This may be a time of disillusionment, my friend. Not to worry. You are built for it. You were never born the world's greatest optimist and now your doubts are confirmed. You finally, finally climb the mountain and find at the top 'that because it was there' was not good enough and does not satisfy. In your disappointment is your truth. In this moment is your truth. You made the long, lonely struggle and now finally at the top, what you find is empty and there was no reason to it all. The solution is to find another mountain and climb again.

AQUARIUS. There is a lesson now in your life about commitment and sticking to the same. It is normally not your way, but every cycle of time in life has its own purpose. Normally change, change is the keynote of your way. Commitment now is just another form of change. It is the time. It might not make sense. It might seem like now, of all the times in your life, is the time to make a change. Things and people are either too hot or they are too cold. It is just a test. It is all just a test. Keep your commitment and you will find freedom on the other side. Make a change and you will end up in another box.

PISCES: Forget about the unconscious and the meaning of things and intuition and the search for who you are. Just pay attention to where you are. Pay attention to where you put your feet and do that one foot at a time. Pay attention to your surroundings and jump across the puddle from stone to stone. Wake up to this world and marvel at the gloss behind the grime and how much grime is beneath the gloss. Do everything new you have not done before and explore where no one has ever gone. Forget the dream for awhile and wallow in your senses how green the green grass smells.
